In this Orthodontic Assistant opportunity, you will support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during dental procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring and professional demeanor, ability to start within a month and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires working between our Elyria, Sandusky, Medina and Lorain offices. Schedule (days/hours): Monday- Thursday 10am-5pm Responsibilities: Establish a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that the Ultimate Patient Experience is delivered to every patient Educate the patients on orthodontic care, headgear delivery and rubber band instructions. Assist in patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records to include panos, cephs, and 3-D scans Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe the doctor notes accurately Perform laboratory procedures Keep chairs stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment Qualifications: Ohio Xray license CPR active Previous Ortho or Pediatric experience preferred Preferred Qualifications: Work Schedule: Monday 10am-5pm - Lorain Tuesday 10am-5pm - Medina Wednesday 10am-5pm - Elyria Thursday 10am-5pm - Sandusky Compensation: $18-$25 About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
