Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Dentech and Cliniview is highly desirable. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Take digital dental X-rays for diagnostic purposes Record patient medical history, vital signs, and assist with medical documentation Manage patient flow and provide chairside assistance during treatments in general dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize 3D scanners for impressions when necessary Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medical coding as required Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, oral hygiene instructions, and post-operative care Support the dental receptionist with scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as needed Requirements 2 years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred Familiarity with Dentech and Cliniview is advantageous Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices Ability to perform chairside assisting duties efficiently while maintaining patient comfort Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing medical records and documentation Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Join our team of professionals committed to providing high-quality dental care.
