Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the dental clinic, providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a blend of clinical skills and patient interaction, making it essential for candidates to be both technically proficient and personable. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring optimal chairside support. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take dental X-rays and ensure proper documentation of images in patient records. post-operative care, and treatment plans. Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed. * Skills Candidates should possess the following skills to excel in this role: Proficiency i systems such as Dentrix, Knowledge of dental terminology, Experience with chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry. Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform medical imaging tasks effectively. Experience with peridontics, general dentistry practices. Strong organizational skills for managing medical documentation and records. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages.
