Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide preventive dental care, educate patients about oral hygiene, and support our dentists in delivering top-quality treatment. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures. Examine patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis or periodontitis. Take and process dental x-rays. Apply sealants and fluoride treatments. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Maintain accurate patient records and charting. Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained. Support a safe and welcoming environment for all patients. Qualifications Licensed Dental Hygienist in Illinois. Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Current CPR certification. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
