Responsibilities - Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing. - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation. - Utilize computer skills to input patient information and treatment plans. - Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit. Qualifications - Michigan Dental Hygiene license - Proficiency in dental terminology - Experience in patient care and general dentistry - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical/dental terminology - Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Strong computer skills, including experience with EMR systems - Excellent customer service skills and ability to work closely with dentists Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist license (Required) Work Location: In person
