Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms to the highest standards.
• Directly assist the surgeon during a variety of oral and periodontal surgery procedures.
• Manage and maintain accurate patient records, imaging, and all pre- and post-operative documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with all infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Educate patients on pre-operative instructions and post-operative care to ensure a smooth recovery.
• Collaborate with the entire dental team to maintain an efficient and seamless workflow.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in oral surgery and/or periodontal surgery assisting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and safety protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-driven setting.
• Proficiency with dental software such as OpenDental or Dentrix.
• Valid X-ray certification is required.
• Certification or formal training in dental assisting (preferred).
• Current CPR certification (preferred).
• Must be fluent in English.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour.

Schedule & Culture Enjoy a consistent 4-day work week with a focus on work-life balance. Our hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. We foster a supportive, friendly, and positive workplace culture where our staff is dedicated to mutual support and continuous professional growth.
