Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, periodontics, and orthodontics dentistry Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, ensuring proper safety measures are followed Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort Maintain detailed and accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Assist with medical imaging and other diagnostic procedures involving anatomy knowledge and medical terminology Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to medical coding, billing, and documentation Requirements Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Certification in chairside assisting or relevant dental assisting credentials preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in medical documentation and records This position is integral to providing high-quality patient care while supporting the overall operations of our dental practice.
