JOB OVERVIEW Our Client is seeking a motivated Dental Hygienist to join our military-based dental practice. While military affiliation is not required, familiarity with military culture or prior experience in a military healthcare setting is strongly preferred. This is ideal for a self-directed professional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing their own patient scheduling, providing high-quality periodontal and orthodontic hygiene care, and collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary dental team. COMPENSATION: $38-50 +monthly bonus opportunity. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE: MON-THURS, 7:45am -5pm & EVERY OTHER FRIDAY BENEFITS HEALTH INSURANCE DENTAL/ VISION INSRUANCE 401 (K) ACCIDENT/LIFE INSURANCE PTO FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT MAJOR MEDICAL AETNA SHORT/LONG - TERM DISABILITY ACCIDENT/CRITICAL ILLNESS INSURANCE EAP & WORKING ADVANTAGE RESPONSIBILITY Perform routine and advanced dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing Assist in orthodontic procedures, including bracket care and patient education Administer local anesthesia (license required) Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-procedure care Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes Coordinate and manage your own hygiene schedule with flexibility and autonomy Foster a welcoming, respectful, and efficient environment for patients, including military personnel and their families QUALIFICATIONS Active Dental Hygienist license in Tennessee Certification to administer local anesthesia Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred Experience or familiarity with military healthcare settings a preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus EXPECTATIONS Manage your own schedule, ensuring appropriate time is allocated for each appointment type. Standard appointments are scheduled for 45-1hr., while new patient visits are 70–90 minutes. All periodontal appointments are 90-120 minutes to allow for thorough assessment, treatment, and patient education, depending on quadrant focus.
