What We Offer: Competitive pay (based on experience) Flexible scheduling Supportive, drama-free team culture Modern technology and fully digital workflow Sunday availability optional Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildupn and perio charting Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in EMR systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance Review dental charts and medical records for comprehensive patient care planning Maintain accurate clinical notes Ensure aseptic techniques are followed to prevent cross-contamination Provide chairside assisting during various dental procedures in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings Monitor and document patient responses throughout treatment, ensuring comfort and safety Adhere to all infection control standards, including sterilization procedures and OSHA regulations Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license with current state licensure Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings, including pediatric dentistry Proficiency with dental software such as OpenDental is highly desirable Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental coding, and documentation review Familiarity with EMR systems and medical imaging techniques Ability to perform patient care with compassion, professionalism, and excellent communication skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols Experience with medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and aseptic technique is required Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail How to Apply: We’d love to meet you!
