About Us We are a brand-new, boutique pediatric dental practice located in the beautifully restored Ramsey Theatre in Ramsey, NJ . Our office is modern, warm, and family-focused, designed to make visits comfortable and fun for children and their parents. As a startup practice, we offer the chance to grow with our team and help shape our patient experience from the ground up. Position Part-time: 2–3 days/week (with opportunity to increase as we grow) Supportive, growth-oriented environment Pediatric-focused, modern digital workflow Requirements Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience (pediatric experience preferred) Active NJ Radiology Certification (required) Comfortable with digital X-rays Professional, reliable, and eager to learn Flexible and willing to help wherever needed in a small practice setting Responsibilities Prepare and set up treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain readiness of supplies Assist the dentist chair-side during a range of pediatric dental procedures Take high-quality digital dental X-rays while following safety protocols Maintain accurate electronic patient records (Open Dental experience a plus) Monitor and record vital signs; ensure patient comfort throughout visits Follow strict infection control and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe, sterile environment Educate children and parents on oral hygiene, procedure aftercare, and preventive habits Deliver an engaging, supportive experience for children of all ages Skills Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and digital charting Experience in pediatric dentistry (a strong plus!)
