To learn more about us, visit our website at www.farmvillepediatricdental.com or social media. **PAY:** COMPETITIVE PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE Job Responsibilities Pediatric Dental Assistant: Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures Assisting Dentist with procedures when necessary: ex: preventative, restorative, GA, conscious sedation, nitrous, etc. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Instruct patients on proper dental hygiene practices Perform prophylaxis Take digital dental x-rays Maintain accurate patient records Caring for dental equipment Maintaining dental equipment inventory Effectively communicate with patients, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive dental experience for patients. Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a child-friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the dental office. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited dental assisting program Experience 1-3 years (preferred) Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols Familiarity with pediatric dentistry techniques Must be compassionate, patient-centric, and comfortable working with children of all ages.
