Duties and Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to general and cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontic procedures such as Invisalign. Take and record patient medical and dental histories and vital signs, and provide postoperative instructions as prescribed by the dentist. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment. Collect diagnostic information through x-rays, molds, intra oral photos, 3 D SCAN, and CBCT. Practice strict compliance with OSHA, CDC, and ADA guidelines and policies pertaining to infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols. Manage dental supplies and inventory by forecasting the needed materials and equipment. Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions. Document dental care services by recording patient/dentist interactions as required. Provide support and reassurance to patients, ensuring a calming environment that aligns with our dental spa ethos. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and clinic practices. Requirements DA or RDA certificate with at least 1 year of relevant experience in a dental office. Self-motivated and eager to improve daily within the dental field. Eager to learn and train in advanced dental specialties, including Invisalign and other continuing dental education opportunities. Exhibits a high level of responsibility, reliability, and availability to meet the needs of our patients and dental team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trusted relationships with patients and team members. Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to ensure punctuality and reliability. Strong organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties.
