Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Columbus, OH
We are looking for an exerienced Dental Assistant to join our GROWING practice!! The Dental Assistant will support our dentists in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring efficient clinical flow, and maintaining a welcoming, safe environment. This role requires excellent chairside skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental procedures and infection control. Assisting Responsibilities Include: Assisting Doctor/Hygienist on a number of procedures including Implant Surgery, Simple and Surgical Extraction, Endodontics, Restorations, Crown and Bridge Prep, Same Day Cerec Crowns, and Periodontal Services Review medical histories, medications, and allergies; update charts accurately Follow OSHA and infection-control guidelines at all times. Four handed dentistry Fluoride Treatments Chair side Assisting Flipping Rooms Sterilization Impressions/Casting Digital Scanning Take digital x-rays, PAs, bitewings, panoramic, and intraoral photos Lab follow up Stocking Maintaining an organized workspace Preferred Skills Experience assisting in implant and surgical procedures Familiarity with scanners (iTero or Medit) Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Chinese, Russian, etc.) Qualifications X-ray certification (Ohio) Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
