This paid position offers room to learn, grow, and truly make an impact in a supportive, family-oriented practice. What You’ll Do Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric procedures such as sealants, fillings, crowns, and preventive treatments. Prepare treatment rooms daily by organizing and sterilizing instruments and ensuring each patient experience runs smoothly. Capture and process dental X-rays and digital scans using modern imaging technology and strict infection control standards. Document and manage patient information accurately in our electronic record systems . Welcome patients and parents warmly, explain procedures in easy-to-understand and kid-friendly language, and help children feel calm and comfortable. Take vital signs and monitor patient well-being throughout procedures. Support the front office team with scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communications when needed. Teach children and parents about proper brushing and dental habits in an engaging, encouraging way. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all clinical and infection control guidelines. What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a clinical support role is helpful. A current Dental Assistant certification is preferred, but motivated learners eager to expand their skills are encouraged to apply. Comfortable with electronic health records. Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and dental terminology. Excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly attitude when working with young children and families. Reliable, positive, and flexible team player who brings energy and compassion to the workplace every day. Pediatric dental experience is appreciated, but a caring personality and willingness to learn are what matter most. Compensation and Growth Experienced Dental Assistants: $22–$27 per hour (depending on experience and certifications). Entry-level candidates: $20–$22 per hour, with paid training and opportunities to earn certification. Education and growth opportunities within a modern, patient-focused pediatric dental practice.
