Carlone Family Dental is a small 4 operatory family owned office, located in Downtown New Milford Position Type: Part-Time About Us: Weâre a warm, friendly practice run by a father-daughter duo who are passionate about providing top-notch care in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We have been in operation since 1983. Job Overview: Weâre looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis. If youâre enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to contribute to a supportive team, weâd love to meet you! Key Responsibilities: Chairside Assisting: Provide support during dental procedures, ensuring the doctor has everything needed for smooth and efficient treatments. Instrument Sterilization: Properly clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments to uphold our high standards of infection control. Patient Care: Make patients feel comfortable and at ease before, during, and after their appointments. Intraoral Scanner/Radiology: Experience with an intraoral scanner is a plus, but not required. Weâll provide training if youâre new to this technology. Radiology Certification would be great but again, not required. Qualifications: Certification: Valid Dental Assistant certification preferred but required, we will provide on the job training as needed. Additionally, we will sponsor Blood Borne Pathogen and OSHA certifications for those who do not already have them. Experience: Previous dental assisting experience preferred but not necessary. Weâre happy to train the right candidate! Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with a friendly and patient-centered approach. Availability: Monday-Thursday 7:45 A.M. - 6 P.M.
