Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires proficiency in various dental assisting tasks, including four-handed dentistry, and a strong commitment to patient comfort and safety. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols. Utilize 3D scanning technology for accurate imaging when necessary. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients. Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as needed. Maintain sterilization of instruments and adhere to infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the clinic. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, particularly in general dentistry or endodontics. Familiarity with dental systems and software for record management is advantageous. Knowledge of pediatric dental care is a plus. Proficiency in taking X-rays and using 3D scanners is desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.
