Job Description MOVA dental, a brand-new, independently owned dental office in Framingham, MA, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a driven, organized, and experienced dental assistant to help build and lead our back office as the practice expands. Key Responsibilities Assist in multi-faceted, bread-and-butter dentistry procedures, including root canals and digital scanning for crowns. Manage back office compliance, including: Monthly autoclave maintenance. Quarterly water line bleaching and testing. Dental supply ordering and inventory management. Support and mentor clinical team members to ensure efficiency and compliance with protocols. Ensure sterilization protocols and aseptic techniques are consistently followed. Oversee clinical operations, including: Patient scheduling and treatment workflow. Coordination with front desk and dental providers to maintain smooth operations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Provide leadership and foster a positive, team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications 2–3 years of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a multi-specialty or general dental setting. Experience with digital scanning for crowns (e.g., iTero or similar systems). Familiarity with dental assisting in general restorative and root canal procedures. Proven ability to manage dental back office compliance and clinical operations. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset. Portuguese and Spanish speaking candidates are preferred. What We Offer Competitive Pay: $20.00–$2600/hour (based on experience). Employee dental care included. Paid Time Off: 1 week. Paid Sick Leave: 1 week. Opportunity to grow with the practice and advance into leadership roles as we expand. Work Schedule Part-time: Wednesday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.
