About Us: We are a friendly, fast-paced pediatric dental practice dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for children and their families serving San Luis Obispo County at our three locations in San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, and Templeton. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care, and weâre looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team! About the Role: We're looking for someone who is kind, gentle, and enthusiastic about working with children and families. The ideal candidate is a team player, able to take direction, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and basic typing skills are required. Preferred Qualifications: While the following qualifications are preferred, we are willing to train the right individual! -Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license -Coronal Polishing certificate -Infection Control certificate -Radiation Safety certificate Job Responsibilities: -Taking diagnostic dental radiographs -Perform coronal polishing as directed by the dentist -Accurately document patient health histories, treatment notes, and dental findings -Provide efficient chairside assistance during dental procedures -Maintain strict infection control protocols, including sterilizing instruments and disinfecting operatories -Prepare treatment rooms and organize instruments and materials prior to procedures to support an efficient workflow -Assist with patient management, helping children feel comfortable, explaining procedures at an age-appropriate level, and supporting parents through the visit What We Offer: We value our team and strive to provide a supportive, growth-oriented workplace.
