Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Oxnard, CA
Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform patient assessments and record medical histories - Assist with medical coding and documentation - Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate medical records Skills: - Proficiency in using CAD software for dental design - Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist with various dental procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
