Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education and care. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical records and taking vital signs. Conduct dental cleanings and apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutritional counseling, and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the management of patient records within the dental clinic systems. Collaborate with dentists in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry procedures as needed. Maintain aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Provide compassionate patient care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have regarding their treatment. Skills Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Familiarity with dental assisting practices and general dentistry procedures. Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required. Strong ability to assess patient needs effectively and provide appropriate care. Knowledge of medical records management within a dental clinic setting. Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health topics. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
