Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist at a DENTAL OFFICE Location: GARDEN CITY Employment Type: [Full-Time / Part-Time] Reports To: Practice Owner About the Role We are looking for a friendly, upbeat, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental team. This role is often the first impression our patients have of our office, so we are seeking someone who is positive, caring, emotionally mature, and genuinely enjoys helping others . The ideal candidate is trainable, ethical, honest, and a true team player who wants to grow with our practice and contribute to a welcoming, supportive environment. What Youâll Do Welcome patients with a warm smile and help them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive Answer phones and assist patients in a kind, professional, and helpful manner Schedule and confirm appointments while keeping the day running smoothly Check patients in and out, collect payments , and explain financial information clearly Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient records Communicate closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience Keep the front office clean, organized, and inviting Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times Scanning patient's forms and records Enter correct dental codes in practice management software Communicate with specialists offices in a timely manner Submit DENTAL PRE DS AND TREATMENT PLANS TO INSURANCES SCHEDULE PATIENTS FOR TREATMENT ONCE PRE DETERMINATION IS RECEIVED What Weâre Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Dental experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person Upbeat, positive attitude with a friendly and calm presence Honest, ethical, and trustworthy in all interactions Emotionally mature and able to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism Team-oriented with a willingness to support coworkers Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable using computers and learning new software Why Youâll Love Working Here Supportive, friendly team that values respect, kindness, and teamwork Positive work environment where your contributions are appreciated Training and mentorship provided to help you succeed, even if youâre new to dental Opportunity to grow and develop your skills within the practice Consistent schedule in a professional office setting Meaningful work helping patients feel comfortable and cared for Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 â 40 per week Work Location: In person
