Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. You will assist with patient intake, manage appointment scheduling, handle medical and dental records, and support billing and insurance processesâall while providing outstanding customer service. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance coverage, and assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, ster the dentist during procedures to ensu Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, optimizing patient flow. Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and handle medical billing using systems like Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth to ensure accurate reimbursement. Maintain comprehensive and accurate dental and medical records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Meditech, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Review documentation for accuracy, update care plans, and ensure proper coding using CPT, ICD-9/10 codes for procedures and diagnoses.
