Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The position is full-time and includes paid training to ensure ongoing professional development. Duties Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Assist with dental imaging procedures such as X-rays while maintaining proper aseptic techniques. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Review medical records and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy for each patient visit. Support infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to uphold the highest standards of safety. Skills Proficiency in dental software such as Softdent Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and documentation review processes. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced dental environment while maintaining attention to detail.
