Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Port Chester, NY

Our Westchester Gentle Dentistry team is seeking an experienced Dental Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler with prior dental experience and excellent customer service skills to manage front desk duties, schedule patient appointments, verify insurance coverage, and handle patient billing and inquiries. If you are energetic, compassionate, and a team player, we would love to hear from you! About the office: We have been proudly serving Westchester County for more than 25 years. At our state-of-the-art office, we offer general dentistry, as well as cosmetic and restorative dentistry services, including laser therapy, teeth whitening, Invisalign, and implants, using the latest dental procedures and technology. We are located in Port Chester, at the border between Rye Brook and Rye. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing front desk duties (e.g., handling incoming phone calls, greeting patients, scheduling patient visits, etc.). Verifying insurance coverage and submitting insurance claims. Managing patient billing and processing payments. Handling patient inquiries and assisting with scheduling needs. Maintaining the reception area and ensuring smooth daily operations. Required qualifications: At least 2 years of experience working in a dental office. Excellent communication (written and oral), typing, computer literacy, organizational, and multitasking skills. A quick learner and comfort with handling ambiguity. Outstanding Customer Service skills. Experience using Dentrix or other dental software is a plus. Sales and finance background is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus.
