We are looking for someone who possesses strong customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as someone who can work as part of a team. We are looking to add a registered dental hygienist to our growing practice. Perform patient screening procedures such as: assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening. Taking necessary dental radiographs and Intraoral photos. Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth and reviewing oral hygiene instructions. Collaborating with the doctor to determine appropriate and individualized treatment for patients. Applying preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides). Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling). Other duties as assigned.
