Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Barre, MA
Looking for a part time hygienist for 2 days a week. Ideally Mondays and Wednesdays but other days could possibly be arranged. Willing to consider hiring two hygienists for each day. Apply with your availability. The hours would be 8-4 with a half hour lunch break, until the new year when the hours on Monday would change to 10-6 but Wednesday would stay 8-4. Willing to consider a temp as well until we can find a permanent. Someone reliable is absolutely necessary. ```Duties``` - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings and other diagnostic tests - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate dental records - Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff ```Qualifications``` - Valid state dental hygiene license - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Proficiency in using dental office systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or CAD - Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique - Experience in assisting with medical imaging, taking vital signs, and maintaining patient records - Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients on oral health care - Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision and accuracy Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
