Dental Assistant - Huron Dental Associates At Huron Dental Associates, we focus on providing great care for our patients and a positive work environment for our staff. Weâre looking for a friendly and experienced Dental Assistant to help our patients achieve their smile goals! Job Duties May Include: Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory. Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist. Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures. Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures. Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist. Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed. Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory. Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments. Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment. Take digital radiographs. Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus. 1+ year of Dental Assisting Experience Schedule: Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Saturday 1X/Month: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Benefits offered after 60 days.
