ob Overview We work full-time 4 days a week (M-Th) with hours averaging from 32 to 40. Three day weekends every weekend. Full-time benefits working 4 days a week. 1 patient per hour. Paid vacation increases each anniversary to a maximum of 4 weeks paid vacation after 5 years. Generous bonus program. After 25 years at our office; one of our Dental Hygienists is retiring from Hygiene and is now the Director of Operations for our Sleep Apnea Center. Patients voted Lighthouse Dental Group as one of the top 3 dental offices in Berrien County Michigan. We are looking for a talented and fun- loving Dental Hygienist to join our other two hygienists. Must have great attention to detail, hard working and most importantly, a great outgoing attitude. Our team has a lot of fun together and with our patients so fun- loving personalities tend to do well at our office. Our patient are number 1! Our Hygienists see 1 patient per hour so they may give our patients all the time and attention they deserve! We also have unlimited training available free of charge on CDOCS for all team members. We are a Complete Health Dentistry practice which means we not only take into account a healthy mouth but how an unhealthy mouth affects the health of the rest of the body. Duties Educate patients on Complete Health Dentistry. How an unhealthy mouth affects the health of the whole body. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterile and ready for use. Perform medical imaging procedures, including digital X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols. Utilize Dentrix for patient management and record keeping. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. Demonstrate aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care. Qualifications Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology is essential. Previous experience as a dental hygienist a must. Proficiency in medical digital imaging techniques is required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
