We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic children's dental office. The ideal candidate will help create a positive, welcoming experience for our young patients while keeping our dental operations efficient and smooth. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical support, ensuring excellent care and service. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients in a friendly, professional manner Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout the visit Set up instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures Assist the dentist during procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques Perform lab-related tasks as directed Provide clear oral hygiene and post-op care instructions Maintain cleanliness and proper stock levels in treatment rooms Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a dental assistant Familiarity with dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control Knowledge of dental health and safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing (preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially with children Strong computer skills and comfort with dental software Detail oriented, reliable, and highly organized High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a dental assistant program Additional certifications are a plus!
