We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team and be the first welcoming face our patients see. Position Overview The Front Desk Coordinator plays a key role in managing patient flow, coordinating schedules, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. This individual will be responsible for managing the Open Dental practice management system , handling patient relations, and collaborating with both clinical and administrative staff to support efficient office operations. Key Responsibilities Patient Relations & Customer Service . Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth. Maintain a high standard of patient communication, including scheduling, treatment coordination, and follow-ups. Resolve patient concerns with empathy and professionalism. Dental Systems Management - Open Dental system management (required): scheduling, charting, billing, insurance claims, recall systems, and reporting. Utilize and navigate other dental platforms/software (e.g., Adit, OpenDental, CareCredit portals, imaging systems) as needed. Ensure accuracy of patient records, insurance verifications, and financial arrangements. Administrative Duties . Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling goals with providers. Manage incoming calls, emails, and patient correspondence. Process payments, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and practice policies. Qualifications & Skills Required: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Open Dental system management . Familiarity with other dental software systems (Adit, etc. or equivalent). Proven background in customer relations and patient service excellence . Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Preferred: Experience in a dental office front desk, treatment coordinator, or office management role. Knowledge of dental insurance processes, claim submission, and collections.
