Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Ontario, CA
Job Overview W Dental Care is a new dental office with a clean, modern, and comfortable environment. We are looking for a DA/RDA to join us on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday (9amâ6pm). Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques Assist during dental procedures including chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry Take and develop dental X-rays Record vital signs and medical history, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records Manage patient flow efficiently, including greeting patients as a dental receptionist when needed Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain dental supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety Qualifications Valid certification as a DA or RDA; relevant state licensure required Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control procedures in dental settings Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology Experience with X-ray procedure Background in general dentistry Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control standards Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patient Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 â 30 per week Work Location: In person
