Our private general and cosmetic dentistry practice needs an experienced RDA with a great attitude and a passion for creating beautiful smiles! Hours Mon 7:30am-5pm Tues-Thurs 7am-3pm Responsibilities Assist dentist during various procedures including general dentistry and periodontics. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are followed. Take X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, while maintaining proper radiation safety standards. Manage patient records using Dentrix; ensure accurate medical documentation and coding in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Take vital signs and medical history of patients to support comprehensive care. Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency. Educate patients on oral health care instructions and post-treatment care. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and sterilize instruments according to infection control standards. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records as a dental receptionist when needed. Skills Proficiency with Dentrix a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient confidentiality. Experience with X-ray procedures, 3D scanners, and medical imaging technology. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in general dentistry settings as well as specialized fields like periodontics. Expertise in infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
