RESPONSIBILITIES: · Comprehensive preventive care visits including dental cleanings and calculus removal. · Educate patients (and parents/guardians) on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations. · Take and develop dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. · Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile environment. · Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records. · Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed. · Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in dental hygiene techniques. · Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care. · Uphold infection control and safety standards to create a comfortable and secure environment for patients and staff.
