Dental Hygienist - Canyon Oaks Dentistry - Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Position Summary: Whether you are a couple yearsgraduate or experienced practitioner looking for a change of pace, we are hiring an outgoing, enthusiastic registered dental hygienist for our family dental practice. Our office takes an old school approach to patient care. We don't push procedures and daily quotas, we simply educate the patient and provide the care that patients need and want. If you are looking for a long term position where you get to know patients and their families while providing excellent care we would like to work with you. Responsibilities: Providing dental prophylaxis via ultrasonic and hand scaling. Medical and dental health screening along with periodontal probing and treatment assessment. Dental radiographs and intraoral photos along with application of topical fluorides and antibacterial medicaments as needed. Thorough charting and record keeping Instrument sterilization and room disinfection as needed. Qualifications: An active Registered Dental Hygienist License issued by the Dental Hygiene Board of California An active CPR/BLS certification The ability to work autonomously with minimal oversite Hours and Compensation: Hiring for part time Wednesday and Friday from 8am - 5pm $50-$60 /hr as well as yearly bonus 401k with matching company contributions Additional Information: Due to the nature of professional trust that our patients put in us all candidates must agree to a criminal background check Be prepared to provide professional references if requested About Canyon Oaks Dentistry: Established in 2011, Canyon Oaks dentistry in a non-corporate family dental practice serving the community with a wide variety of dental services.
