$1000 BONUS Shadow Lake Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant at our friendly office. Hours are 7am-4pm Monday-Thursday. Office is privately owned-NOT A CORPORATE CHAIN. Earn bonus of $500 conditional on maintaining good standing through 6 months of service and $500 additional upon 1 year o service. Assist the doctor and hygienists for procedures and help patients schedule needed treatment and facilitate the lifeblood of the dental practice-the recall system.  General and Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Dental Implants, Orthodontics, Whitening, Snore Guards, Hygiene Services and more. Lots of variety!! Flexible Employment Start date-would like to have you join our staff in the coming weeks/month. Will be covering maternity leave now through September 1. Can become permanent for the right person (if you can help make our team better and more productive you WILL become permanent!). Work Location: * One location-Shadow Lake Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Papillion Work Remotely: * No Work Location: In person Duties - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Record patient information and maintain accurate dental records - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns Experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant preferred - Proficiency in dental software systems, such as Oryx or similar programs - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and medical coding - Familiarity with taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately - Experience in assisting with scanning and X-ray technology is a plus - Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in pediatric dentistry is helpful Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent on-the-job training - X-Ray certification required -Preferred to have Coronal Polish Certificate Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients - Proficient in using dental equipment and instruments We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
