Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Las Vegas, NV
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. Candidates who prior experience as a dental assistant are encouraged to apply. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional front desk support to ensure the smooth operation of the dental office. The main duty of this position is answering incoming phone calls. Bi lingual in Spanish is preferred. Duties: - Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner. - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our office phone system and electronic health record. - Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries. - Collect and record patient information, including medical history and personal details. - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all documentation. - Process payments and handle billing inquiries. - Coordinate with dental providers to ensure efficient patient flow. - Provide general administrative support to the dental office staff. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role. - Proficient in using office software programs (open dental). - Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. - Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. - Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
