Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Currently looking for a candidate to work Saturdays or Sunday. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy and extractions. Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical records to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to deliver efficient, high-quality care. Document all procedures accurately within electronic health record systems adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term wellness. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and current best practices in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical documentation standards, and infection control protocols. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics). Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and effective communication. Understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical records management for confidentiality and legal adherence. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal workflow.
