Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Harbor Care

We are committed to treating every patient with dignity, respect, and compassion while advancing our mission to improve lives and end homelessness. n this role, you will; Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and maintain operatories, instruments, and materials for patient care Take digital radiographs and support accurate patient documentation Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols (OSHA, CDC, ADA) Support patient flow, including seating, preparation, and communication during visits Perform dental lab tasks such as impressions and model preparation Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling and answering phones as needed Provide coverage for team absences as available This is a part-time, flexible opportunity designed to provide consistency while allowing for work-life balance. Schedule 20 hours per week Two 8-hour days (set schedule once selected) One additional 4-hour block scheduled flexibly Opportunity to pick up additional hours covering absences What Weâre Looking For Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Dental assisting experience or formal training CPR certification Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of dental assisting experience Experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Youâll succeed in this role if you are detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
