Our well-established pediatric and orthodontic practice is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant to join us. Key Responsibilities: Take and process X-rays Provide chairside assistance during procedures Accurately chart patient information Facilitate patient flow Prepare and break down treatment rooms Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean environment Assist with the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances Take full patient records, including panoramic X-rays, cephalometric X-rays, and photos Offer oral hygiene and diet instructions, including performing plaque scores Prepare and arrange tools and instruments for scheduled procedures Perform 3D scanning with the Itero scanner Qualifications: X-Ray certification is required Experience working with children, including those who may be anxious, uncooperative, or have special needs, is highly preferred A team-oriented, positive attitude with a passion for patient care Nitrous oxide certification recommended but not required What We Offer: Competitive pay, based on experience Full-time benefits including generous paid time off, health insurance, and a 401(k) plan Flexible schedule with the option for part-time or full-time work Schedule: Monday: 9 AM - 5 PM Tuesday: 1pm-6pm during the school year, 9am-5pm in the summer Thursday: 1 PM - 7 PM Friday: 9am-5pm during the school year, 9am-3pm in the summer One Saturday per month: 9 AM - 2 PM (except July & August) If you're looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a difference in the lives of children while working with a supportive and friendly team, we’d love to hear from you!
