Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies. Take medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting treatment plans, assessments, and patient interactions in Eaglesoft. Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure patient safety. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Support pediatric dentistry services by creating a friendly environment for young patients and understanding pediatric-specific dental needs. Monitor vital signs before procedures to ensure patient stability and safety throughout treatment sessions. Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Ability to perform patient care tasks including patient assessment, medical coding, and documentation review accurately. Familiarity with Eaglesoft for managing electronic health records seamlessly. Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance with privacy standards at all times.
