Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic by assisting dentists during procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining a sterile environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to provide exceptional patient care. Duties Assist dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. FLORIDA RADIOLOGY LICENSE REQUIRED. Maintain infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and disinfecting treatment areas. Educate patients on pre-op and post-treatment care. Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and handling patient inquiries. Assist in implant surgery procedures, demonstrating knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental treatments. Qualifications Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential. Understanding of dental terminology to communicate effectively with both patients and staff. Experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous, particularly in roles involving both assisting and receptionist duties. Knowledge of infection control standards to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Experience or interest in implant dentistry is a plus. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry is beneficial. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
