HIRING URGENTLY! Our new, modern dental office is looking for a RockStar Dental Assistant to join our team . MUST HAVE AT LEAST 6 months OF WORKING IN DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE. COMPETITIVE SALARY FULL TIME POSITION At least 1 year of prior experience as a dental assistant X Ray certification, Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements). Has to be a strong team player and have the willingness to serve patients Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Prepare patients for treatments / checkups ensuring their comfort Set up and clean-up of all instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilization of instruments Direct dental assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Coordinate and manage supply inventory Ability to deliver patient instructions Willingness to be cross trained for scheduling and patient check out Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stressful situations. Knowledge of English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and accept constructive feedback. Outstanding communication and customer service skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Reliable and dependable. Thrives in a team-based environment. Ability to keep records and patientsâ personal information private. Exceptional organizational skills. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
