Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Assistant with specialized training in Cerec technology to join our vibrant dental team. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, endodontics, and prosthodontics, with a focus on Cerec same-day restorations using 3D scanners and medical imaging technology Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques Operate digital equipment such as the Cerec system, 3D scanners, and X-ray machines to capture precise images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, medical history, and treatment details in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support pediatric dentistry procedures by creating a welcoming environment for young patients, taking vital signs, and assisting with pediatric-specific dental needs Maintain a thorough understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding to ensure accurate record-keeping and billing processes Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team through four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry and specialty areas such as prosthodontics or endodontics Certification or training in Cerec technology and proficiency with digital dentistry tools including 3D scanners and medical imaging devices Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety Ability to operate EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft confidently while maintaining HIPAA compliance for all medical documentation and records Excellent understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding practices Skilled in chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and taking X-rays accurately Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is preferred to support diverse patient needs effectively Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering innovative dental solutions!
