Permanent Dental Assistant Job in San Francisco, CA

Our boutique Pediatric Dental office is growing and we are looking to welcome a new Dental Assistant Team Member! Immediate opportunity to assist with dates: December 18, 29 and 30, to opportunity for permanent position. We inspire and educate patients to live their best lives. We are looking for new team members who are interested in this very rewarding experience! Days are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and select Fridays. 1 half-day Saturday per month is also available starting February. Pay scale: Base/Training wage: $26/hour or more for newly trained unlicensed Dental Assistant with required certificates, depending on experience and other customer service skills, promotion based on experience. Licensed RDA: Base $30 to $40 depending on experience and work history. REQUIREMENTS: · Coronal Polishing, 8-Hour Infection Control and Radiography certificate REQUIRED. · Active CPR Certification (we will complete recertifications as a team). · Minimum of 2 year dental assisting experience preferred, with comfort working with children through teens. · Comfort assisting with operative procedures for children â fillings, pediatric crowns etc. We use the latest technology in local anesthesia and have nitrous oxide available for our patientsâ comfort so their experience and ours goes smoothly. · Prior knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus, but not required as we will provide training. · Willingness to cross-train and help with front office tasks is a bonus, with opportunities for increased hours and income. · Positive attitude, teamwork and mutual support and kindness to each other.
