We are looking for a motivated person who would like to join our Endodontic Specialty dental practice. As a dental assistant you will help in providing the best in patient centered care. Assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be or able to beccome skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.. On the job training will be provided but experience is preferred. Responsibilities Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Provide post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records Skills Proven experience as dental assistant, preferred but not required Understanding of health & safety regulations Computer use required Excellent communication and people skills Well-organized and reliable Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: In person
