The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, periodontal treatment, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the doctor in treatment sequencing. Candidates must be laser certified, experienced with using Arestin and have minimum of 3 years working experience. This is not an entry level or new grad position. We are seeking a skilled RDH. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. Treat patients with root planing and scaling. Take and review vital signs, medical imaging, and maintain accurate medical records. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Document patient care accurately using EMR systems and review documentation as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in both general dentistry and specialized areas. Skills Familiarity with dental terminology, charting and dental software programs. Experience with soft tissue laser. Understanding and use of Arestin, sealants, adult fluoride. Strong understanding of anatomy related to oral health. Experience in infection control measures within a dental clinic environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on their oral health. Ability to perform patient assessments and provide compassionate care. Minimum of three years previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
