Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. Your proficiency in dental assisting, medical documentation, infection control, and advanced dental technologies will be key to maintaining our high standards of care. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, and implant surgery, ensuring smooth and efficient patient flow Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards Take and develop dental X-rays and utilize medical imaging tools such as 3D scanners to assist in accurate diagnoses and treatment planning Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Epic to ensure precise documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and medical coding Monitor vital signs and assess patient comfort levels before, during, and after procedures to promote safety and well-being Support front desk operations by performing dental receptionist duties including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and insurance verification Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in the applicable jurisdiction Proven experience in dental assisting within a busy dental clinic environment, with knowledge of general dentistry procedures Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic; familiarity with medical documentation and records management Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Experience with chairside assisting in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools safely and effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards for accurate record keeping in healthcare settings We value energetic professionals eager to grow their skills while providing exceptional service in a supportive team environment.
