Bilingual Dental Assistant - Olive Dentistry - Houston, TX

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental records, OpenDental, and dental documentation. Please see below for more details. Duties: - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - Take dental radiographs (x-rays) - Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse - Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment - Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health - Perform various office tasks as necessary Skills: - Excellent communication skills with both patients and staff - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with medical records, medical coding, CAD, Epic, and medical documentation - Ability to work well in a team environment - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience required - Current certification in CPR - Must be able to pass a background check If you meet these requirements and are interested in joining our team as a Dental Assistant, please submit your resume for consideration.
