SeniorDent On-Site Health Care is dedicated to delivering exceptional dental and oral health services to residents in Senior and Long Term Care Facilities. As a Dental Hygienist with our growing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the oral health and well-being of our residents. Overview: As a Dental Hygienist at SeniorDent, you will work closely with our geriatric population to provide top-notch care to individuals residing in nursing homes or long-term care facilities in the state of Alabama. We are seeking a traveling Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! Your expertise and compassion will contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities: - Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient -Perform professional dental cleanings, take and develop x-rays and review them as required. -Remove plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth -Apply fluorides to help prevent tooth decay -Use a range of different dental instruments and ensure that all instruments are sterilized and clean at the end of each session -Follow Health and Safety guidelines in all aspects - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. - Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. - Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings - Must have ability to work independently and must possess a valid driver's license Requirements: -Must be willing to travel The state of Alabama - Areas Included are Birmingham and surrounding areas -Full time 36 hours per week 4 RDH traveling days and 1 Admin Day - Minimum 21 years old - Must have current/valid license as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Nebraska - 3 years experience is required - CPR certification or obtain CPR certification within 90 days of employment - Knowledge of standard dental safety procedures - Ability to maintain medical records accurately. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. -Good organizational skills with an eye to detail -Must be willing to travel 4 days a week and be able to lift up to 40 pounds of equipment -Must have basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as well as excellent clerical skills - 36 hours a week Benefits: -Health Insurance Reimbursement -Continuing education reimbursement -Hotel, fuel, and meal coverage per company policy with use of company credit card -All dental equipment and dental supplies are provided -All major holidays are paid - after 6 months of employment 40 hours of PTO to use -Company Car given, Company Laptop and Company issued Cell Phone -Pay is starting at $83,500 Join our team at SeniorDent and be part of a compassionate group dedicated to improving the oral health of individuals in long-term care facilities.
