Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Perform dental receptionist duties as needed Skills: - Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry - Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software - Knowledge of dental receptionist systems and procedures - Strong understanding of infection control and aseptic technique - Skilled in dental assisting techniques and procedures - Familiarity with medical coding for dental procedures - Knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dentistry - Ability to take and record vital signs accurately We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team.
